Honda Racing Corporation and Red Bull re-unite to add to past success

Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) and Red Bull are pleased to announce a new partnership that will see the Austrian brand join the Honda HRC Castrol MotoGP team as one of the major partners beginning with the 2027 season. The multi-year agreement marks a significant reunion of the two companies' long-standing relationship across a variety of motorsports. United by ambition and fueled by the hunt for excellence, both companies have clear targets to add to their significant history and continuing to push the limits of performance while helping to shape the future of the MotoGP World Championship together.

Under the new deal, Red Bull branding will feature prominently across the next generation of Honda HRC Castrol machines, team garage, and rider apparel as both HRC and Red Bull chase competition and victory at the highest level of motorcycle racing.

Red Bull first joined the Honda HRC’s factory team in 2015, the partnership of that era coinciding with some of the most successful years in HRC’s modern history including multiple riders' and constructors' world championships as iconic duo worked side by side. This renewed collaboration builds directly on that foundation, reuniting two organizations with a proven track record of success together and a united vision on and off the track.

The Honda HRC Castrol team will unveil their full 2027 livery and new machine ahead the 2027 MotoGP World Championship season.

Koji Watanabe - President of Honda Racing Corporation
“Honda HRC and Red Bull are two companies who are very familiar with each other in many forms of racing, and I am delighted to restart our collaboration in MotoGP. As we look ahead to step into a new version of the MotoGP World Championship with the 850cc machines, it is critical to have partners who have the same targets and ambitions. Together I have no doubt of what we can achieve and know we will be able to bring fans more incredible moments throughout our joint collaboration. Red Bull are a company who share our goals, our drive and our exacting standards and I am certain that together we can continue to add to the history we have already written on and off the track.”

Alberto Puig - Team Manager, Honda HRC Castrol
“As MotoGP prepares to enter a new era with new machines, new rules and new targets as a World Championship, we reunite with Red Bull. In racing, there are very few companies who are competing in as many different championships as HRC and Red Bull, it is a collaboration which makes clear, logical sense. I know that neither party will accept anything less than victory and that is what we must work for to once again make this combination the reference.”
